Differences between your family now and in the past

Families in the past used to be bigger. Now the average family consist of five members. There is a lack of respect towards the parents, who have lost some of their authority. Women are more independent now because they work. In the past, people married earlier and had more children. But today, there is less communication within the family due to computers and the internet.

Do you believe in marriage?

O. (boy)r: I don’t mind getting married or not, it’s a completely free choice. Everyone can choose what to do.

A. (boy): I think that it’s so good because you show your love to your partner.

V. (boy):I think it’s ok but you can choose what you want.

A. (girl): I don’t believe in marriage because if you love the other person, in my opinion it is not necessary to get married, and in addition nowadays people get divorced after a short time.

S. (girl): I think that each person can do what they want.

C. (girl): In my opinion it’s a free choice.

What is the ideal age to get married?

We all agree that there is no fixed age for getting married but we think you should be older than 25 years and you should have finished your degrees. What we all take into account is the importance of having a good job and consequently a social welfare state.
