Participating Schools: Alicante, Spain

Don Bosco is a semi-private Salesian school  for Years 3 to 18 with approximately 1,200 students. It is located in a residential area in Alicante, Spain.  It was founded in 1970 but was before one of Saint Joseph's Salesian Schools in the center of the city.

The school is very interested in showing our students that we are European citizens. With this aim we organise many activities and are involved in some projects since the European Cell Department  started in our school 6 years ago.

The policy of our school to be interested in the defense of human values makes us be involved in many charity campaigns coordinated by the Pastoral Team. There is also a youth association which offers extra activities for our students to develop their artistic skills and improve relationships when the lessons are over.

We also take special interest in helping students to choose their future careers. The Psychological Counseling Team leads a vocational guidance project to provide all the necessary information to  them.
